It was a great weekend and we had tons of fun!

Fat Lady Down in the Veggie Aisle!

Gary and I worked out this morning and then went to Idaho Falls to get groceries.
We went to Sam's Club first ( think Cosco) and got a few things and then we went to Winco, which for you that don't know is a gigantic grocery store with discount prices.
We were calmly walking through the fruit and vegetable section when Gary saw the avocados a made a bee line straight for them.
I watched where he was going and then turned to grab a bag of baby spinach.
Owwww, Nononono, Oh Crap, Owwwww!
I had tripped over a flat bed stock cart that was half way loaded on the opposite end of where I fell.
I hit my shin bone on the side of the cart and landed forehead first on the floor.
Several ladies where standing around me asking if I was ok, and I just layed there for a minute to see if I was or not.
Meantime, Gary picked out his avocados and turned thinking "Where the heck did she go now?" and finally saw two legs sticking out in the air with my shoes on them.
I heard someone say they had sent for the manager and I decided I was going to live so I sat up on the cart not to show off my big butt anymore.
All the ladies were telling me to stay still, was I ok, did I break anything, was I going to throw up? I imagine this was the most excitement any of them had had for a week or so.
I assured them that I was ok, I had just bruised my shin and probably my head but it was nothing serious.
The produce guy told me I had to stay where I was so they could document the whole episode, so I stayed put on the stock cart, but at least I was upright instead of face down. Gary came over by this time (maybe before, but I wasn't aware of him until now) and asked what the deal was so I explained and then he went around and got the bag of spinach for me.....just on the other side of the cart that I swear was not there before I fell. I must be a magnet for these types of things!!
Finally the manager or whoever she was came over with a couple of other store ladies who asked me to explain again. She filled out some form so that they will watch me like a hawk via their video camera from now until forever. Looked at my forehead, now with a 2 inch wide lump forming and my shin with a bruise across it and then took pictures of both which will probably be on YouTube tomorrow.
I assured them that I was ok and didn't need an ambulance (been there done that when I fell off the deck 3 years ago) and they finally helped me up and everyone left.
We finished shopping even though I felt like crawling under a bush and dying from embrassment.
Later in the store I saw one of the first ladies on the scene and she asked me again if I was ok.
On the way home in the car I realized that I am the one who handed down all the hard headed grandkids in our family, like Joe and Luke!! They hit their heads all the time too!
So the cluze struck again.
At least it wasn't the average shopping trip.
